Richard Manzano, Esq.
Professor Manzano currently teaches in both the Paralegal and the Management, Marketing
and International Business Departments at Santa Ana College. Professor
Manzano graduated from Glendale Community College with an AA degree
in History, California State University at Los Angeles with is B.S.
in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from
Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles in 1982. He
has been an active member of the California State Bar since 1982
and is also admitted to practice before the Federal Courts. Prior
to practicing law Professor Manzano worked for the Glendale Police
Department in a number of civilian capacities, then for the County
of Los Angeles as a hearing officer for the Business License Commission
and as a Superior Court Clerk. In his private practice Professor
Manzano has been appointed to represent indigent defendants by the
Glendale Municipal Court, has practiced in the area of professional
negligence defense, personal injury litigation, and presently in
the areas of real estate, estate planning and business transactions.
Professor Manzano currently teaches Criminal Procedure, The Environment
of Business, Real Property Law, Law Office Management, Business Organizations, and at Santiago
Canyon College, Philosophy 110, Critical Thinking.
