Christine DeBoer

Professor DeBoer has been department chair of the Paralegal department for 20 years. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Art degree and from Western State University School of Law with a Juris doctor degree. She has been an active member of the California State Bar since 1980 and was in private practice for 7 years specializing in Civil Litigation and Estate Planning prior to her present position at Santa Ana College.

Professor DeBoer is and was instrumental in obtaining and maintaining American Bar Association approval for the Paralegal Program and has overall responsibility for program curriculum, program counseling, job placement, hiring of adjunct faculty and maintenance of an active Advisory Committee. She currently teaches a variety of classes in the program including Introduction to Paralegal, Civil Litigation, Torts, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Legal Research, Legal Transactions and Ethics. She additionally administers the Work Experience (Internship) program.
