Jinhee
Trone
Professor
Jinhee Trone graduated from California State University of
Los Angeles with a bachelors degree in business administration
and accounting.
After college,
she went to work for Ernst & Young, LLP where she served in
both audit and tax. She was promoted to Audit Manager in 1994.
During her seven (7) years at Ernst & Young, LLP, she worked
with many different types of industry, including many companies
with SEC reporting requirements. Some of those industries included
health & fitness, music recording, television animation, health
care, investment banking, manufacturing and merchandising. She
worked at both the Los Angeles and Irvine offices of Ernst and
Young, LLP before leaving to run her own financial consulting
practice.
Professor
Trone is a Certified Public Accountant and has been teaching financial
and managerial accounting and individual income taxes since 1997.
During 2001,
she began teaching individual income taxes on the Web. She loves
traveling, skiing, walking, reading (anything!), movies, dogs
and spending time with her husband and her two children.
She is a
member of the California Society of CPA's and the American Accounting
Society.
